Paul A. Zeger, Principal, President, CEO

Paul oversees strategic decision making, project planning and implementation for PMA clients, working directly with the development team to identify market opportunities and specify products to achieve developer goals.

In a career spanning more than two decades, Paul has worked closely with leading developers to plan, create, promote and sell a significant percentage of the Bay Area’s successful new residential communities. Paul was named president of PMA in 1997, when he and PMA’s current principals purchased Pacific Union Marketing Company and renamed it Pacific Marketing Associates.

Paul earned his Bachelors degree in Economics from Colgate University and his MBA from the Darden School at The University of Virginia.

 
 

Hans Treuenfels, Principal, Director of Sales

Hans oversees implementation of all sales activities at PMA. With his team of experienced sales managers, he has maintained an exceptional sell-out record for PMA clients.

Hans joined PMA in 1994, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in the sales and marketing of multi-family residential and resort housing. He has participated in the development and sales of condominiums in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as in Lake Tahoe , Los Angeles , and Utah . Hans earned his Bachelors degree from Swarthmore College and his Masters degree from Stanford University.

 
 

Carolyn O. Merrill, Principal, Chief Financial Officer

Carolyn oversees financial management of all marketing and sales campaigns for PMA clients. Applying her experience in accounting and business management, Carolyn has established stringent control systems designed to keep PMA clients fully informed of all project activities. She is directly responsible for PMA’s interface with client accounting departments, and she administers all aspects of PMA’s legal agreements.

Carolyn joined Pacific Union Marketing Company in 1990, participating as a principal in the purchase of the company in 1997. She holds a Bachelors degree from San Francisco State University.

 
 

Peter J. Palmisano, Principal, Founder

As a member of both the PMA Board of Directors and strategic marketing group, Peter participates in developing unique sales and marketing programs for PMA clients.

Since founding his first real estate marketing and sales company in 1979, Peter has been responsible for more than $3 billion dollars of real estate sales. Through his extensive experience in the San Francisco real estate market, Peter has gained valuable insights into how best to motivate homebuyers, and he uses those insights to great advantage for PMA clients. Peter received his Bachelors degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology and his Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

 
 

Garrett S. Chan, Vice President of Sales

Garrett is responsible for creating and implementing sales and marketing campaigns for PMA clients. He assumes a hands-on role in directing each campaign from inception through completion, coordinating team efforts to guarantee each sales campaign is continually reviewed and improved to ensure developer success.

Over his nearly 20 years of experience in the field, Garrett has gained a deep understanding of local markets. Today, he provides PMA clients with a valuable perspective on product trends and positioning. Garrett holds a Bachelors degree from San Francisco State University.

 
 

Veronica Roberson, Vice President of Sales

Veronica is responsible for creating and implementing sales and marketing campaigns for PMA clients.  She assumes a hands-on role in directing each campaign from inception through completion, coordinating team efforts to guarantee each sales campaign is continually reviewed and improved to ensure developer success.

With over 17 years of experience, Veronica has taken on roles in every area of the field, including escrow, marketing, sales, product positioning and market analysis.  Veronica holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from UC Davis.

 
 

Kim Cole, Vice President of Sales

Kim is responsible for creating and implementing sales and marketing campaigns for PMA clients. She assumes a hands on role in directing each campaign from inception through completion and coordinating team efforts to guarantee that each sales campaign is continually reviewed and improved to insure developer success.

With over 18 years of residential real estate sales and management experience, Kim has taken on roles in Sales, Escrow Management, Sales Management, Recruitment, and Training. Kim has been a California Real Estate Broker since 1989, holds a CSP designation from the NHBA, is the recipient of several Sales awards from the HBA/SMC, and has an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of California, Northridge.


Kathryn Baker, Director of Client Services

Kathryn is responsible for the day-to-day management of all PMA escrow activities and clients’ design centers. Her superior organizational and interpersonal skills have made Kathryn an invaluable asset to PMA’s developer clients. In her role as the on-site liaison between PMA clients and the homebuyers, Kathryn guides the consumer experience to promote each project’s unique selling points and generate increased sales.

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in business studies from the Lancashire Polytechnic Institute in Preston, U.K.

 
 

Toni Leance, Senior Marketing Manager

Toni has over twenty-five years of real estate experience. She is currently responsible for directing the marketing effort of residential developments throughout the Bay area. Prior to joining the PMA team, Toni worked for several national builders including: Taylor Woodrow, Pulte and Del Webb. She is a sought-after industry expert having served as a judge for the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (Gold Nuggets), the MAME awards in Seattle, ELAN awards in Los Angeles and most recently as the 2006 judge for the Nationals sponsored by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) She has spoken as an industry expert at PCBC and Sales and Marketing Council on the psychographics of the marketplace and buyer motivation. Toni holds a degree in Social Ecology from University of California, Irvine.

 
 

Laura Medanich, Senior Marketing Manager

Laura has over twenty years of project management experience. She is responsible for directing the marketing efforts of residential developments throughout the extended Bay Area. She also oversees both primary and secondary research to provide market insight to her developer clients. Laura has worked with such renowned clients as: Pacifica Companies, Prometheus Real Estate Group, Inc., AF Evans Development, Inc., and Fulcrum Property Management Group. Prior to PMA, Laura spent seven years on the client side and a decade on the ad agency account management side working for some of the top advertising agencies in the world. Previous accounts include: Acura, Lucky Stores, Round Table Pizza, Sonicare and Adobe Systems. Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of the Pacific. She has participated in extended education in market research, graphic design and management.

 

Ariel Sutro, Marketing Manager

Ariel is responsible for managing the entire cycle of selected PMA actively planning projects in San Francisco and the East Bay. Guiding a project through creation of a marketing blueprint and positioning statement, name and identity development, production of marketing collateral and signage, and installation of models and sales centers, Ariel maintains the point of contact for developers and vendors through the marketing life cycle of a project.

Prior to joining PMA, Ariel gained in-depth marketing experience with Tattoo Brand Consulting; working to position such diverse brands as Discovery Networks, Gillette, Conde Nast, GAP and Cirque du Solelil. Before that she worked at BT Commercial, representing landlords and tenants in Commercial Real Estate lease transactions. Ariel received her Bachelors degree in International Management from American University, Kogod School of Business, Washington DC.

 

Carrie Newbery, Marketing Manager

Carrie Newbery has over 20 years of real estate experience. She is responsible for directing the marketing efforts of residential developments throughout the South Bay. Prior to joining the PMA team, Carrie was the VP of sales and marketing at William Lyon Homes and worked for some private builders prior to that. Her professional experience includes spearheading award winning marketing and advertising campaigns that have resulted in successful community sell outs.

She has served as a judge for the Elan Awards in Los Angeles and currently serves as President of the Sales and Marketing council of the HBANC. Carrie currently holds a California State Real Estate License and earned her degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Sacramento.

 

Jorja Capps, Area Sales Manager

Jorja is responsible for inventory management, sales training, escrow closings, customer relations, reports and team leadership for our clients in the South Bay and the Peninsula. As an Area Sales Manager, Jorja provides leadership and mentors sales agents so they can master the selling process and, in turn, ensure developer success. Jorja has been working in real estate for over 18 years, with 15 years of new home sales experience. Through her experience working with developers, clients and sales partners, Jorja has advanced her sales knowledge and interpersonal skills, making her an invaluable asset to the PMA Team. Jorja holds an Associated Arts degree in Hospitality from San Francisco City College.

 
 

Myla Junge, Sales Operations Manager

Myla is responsible for coordinating the opening of Sales Centers for each project. Working with developers, marketing managers and outside vendors, Myla integrates communication, data and supply needs to accommodate the design and feel of each office. 

Prior to her life at PMA, Myla worked for a fast food franchisee in Chicago. She guided Operations and Marketing for their regional Midwest office, covering a five state territory. She also gained experience while working in market research for an educational publisher and research coordination for a National Institutes of Health federal grant.

Myla received her Bachelors degree in Psychology, with honors, from Loyola University Chicago.

 
 

Shannon Nohr, Business Development

Shannon works closely with Paul Zeger to maintain current developer relations and to build new relationships with clients. She researches active projects in various markets and keeps up-to-date market information. Since graduating from the University of Colorado with an advertising degree in 1999, Shannon has worked in real estate advertising, marketing, escrow, mortgage, and sales. Until her recent switch to new business, Shannon was in new home sales for five years.

 

Matt Felt, Research Analyst

Matt is responsible for all research and analysis of Bay Area comp data for current and proposed real estate developments. Matt also assists in the creation of pricing models and project budgets as well as the tracking of California real estate activity focusing on both local and national trends. Matt has over 3 years of experience in real estate analysis. Matt received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, from the University of Arizona.

 

Tesa Sena-Bulatao, Corporate Services Manager

Tesa has a multi-faceted role in human resources and her day-to-day responsibilities include personnel, bookkeeping and client relations.  Since joining Pacific Marketing in 1999, Tesa has been a part of every aspect of PMA.  Her interpersonal skills maintain excellent client relations.

Before joining PMA, Tesa was Activities Director for 8 years in active adult communities and senior housing facilities throughout the Bay Area.  Her experience is invaluable when planning corporate events as well as special client events. Tesa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University.
